IN RECOGNITION OF HIS OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS IN THE FIELD OF DEVELOPING INDIGENOUS INTEGRATED GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION AND IMAGE PROCESSING SOFTWARE (IGIS), INDIAN SOCIETY OF GEOMATICS CONFERS THE NATIONAL GEOMATIC AWARD FOR TECHNOLOGY FOR THE YEAR 2009 ON SHRI CHIRAG SONI.

Mr. Chirag Soni is a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Scanpoint Geomatics Limited and also a member of Board of Directors as a Technical Director (R & D – IT GIS)He is also one of the trustees in SERI (Scanpoint Education & Research Institute), Gujarat’s First Geomatics Institute.

He has a vast knowledge and more than 12 years of rich experience in computer Graphics, CAD, GIS and Image Processing related software development.

Mr. Chirag Soni has played key role in the development of IGiS software, a JV of Scanpoint Geomatics with ISRO and under his able guidance and supervision IGiS has opened up new horizons for Scanpoint as well as GIS industries.
